To start off, I will ask you to state your name. This helps me to tune into your vibrational frequency, your energy, your spirit. Then I will take a moment to adjust my own energy accordingly - moving into a more meditative state. Think of it like turning your radio dial to find a particular station. As you get closer and closer to the channel you want, there is less and less static until finally the station comes in loud and clear.

I will then speak out loud an intentional "prayer". This is not in a religious sense. This is simply a way to set the tone and intentions of the reading. This does follow a general format though is never fully scripted.

Then I begin the session. My eyes will likely be closed for the majority of the time - this helps me maintain that meditative state and stay connected with your spirit. My clairvoyance is also more vivid this way. You may also notice me moving my head and/or my hands in seemingly random ways - some of this happens automatically without me being consciously aware. Most of my hand movements help me move the energy. And in general, I tend to use hand gestures when I talk.

I encourage you to take notes for two main reasons. First being that it is not unusual for me not to remember everything. I am, for all intensive purposes, having a direct conversation with your spirit and translating the information as it come to me. A sort of channeling, if you will. This information is for you and not me, so there is no need for sustained retention of that information on my part. Therefore, especially if you are choosing not to record your session, you will likely want to have some way of documenting what comes through for you for future reference. And you can also make note of any questions that might come up. The second reason is that it give you something to do. Not anticipating that you will get bored. Sometimes, out of sincere curiosity, your energy starts to move over into my energy field and creates "radio static" - using the analogy above. Giving your physical body a task, helps to keep your energy field anchored.
